Our client is a consolidated banking institution, being part of one of the largest service providers groups in Portugal. They have a very open and dynamic environment and interesting technological projects being implemented.

Location: Lisbon, hybrid
With their team growing, they are looking for a Head of IT Operations (m/f) who will be responsible for 4 areas of activity (support, on-prem and cloud infrastructure, release management, and cross-projects) with the goal of leading the teams and ensuring that activities are carried out according to plan, as well as being the point of contact with the Security team and managing contracts with suppliers.
This person must have extensive experience in consulting, including projects in the banking area, as well as in managing complex projects and leading teams. They must also have knowledge in cloud projects (namely on Kubernetes, Terraform), cloud architecture (Azure), FinOps and DevOps. Additionally, they must have strong communication and presentation skills (with fluency in English, spoken and written), interpersonal relationships skills, and analytical and problem-solving skills.
